Metaverse and blockchain wind, which affects the whole world, also finds its response in academic life. Halic University is implementing the “Metaverse” scholarship for the first time in Turkey.
Candidates who have success and produce content in the fields of blockchain, software game design, digital arts, architecture, AR, VR, NFT, and Crypto Money will be able to win up to 100 percent educational scholarships from Halic University.
With the cooperation of Halic University and Atlas Space, young people who want to advance in the field of Metaverse research and development will also receive professional support through the joint internship and certificate programs provided by the two institutions.
While the total quota for the study is targeted as 100 students for the relevant departments, approximately 15 million TL will be invested in this field, with Halic University, as the first University to develop its Metaverse ecosystem with the digital application it will develop, and will switch to the token system for intra-university expenditures.
Within the scope of Turkey’s first Metaverse Scholarship; Candidates who have success and produce content in the fields of blockchain, architecture, AR, VR, NFT, and Crypto Money can receive education from Halic University with a financial value of 120,000 TL per year and up to 100 percent they can get the scholarship.
While it is stated that the scholarship rate will be updated every year according to the successful development of the candidate; In consideration of the candidate’s successful project; provided that priority will be given to software, computer, electrical- electronics, architecture, interior architecture, industrial design, machinery, graphic design, game design, fine arts, and business administration.
